Where To Go In L.A. For Celebrity Sightings

If there’s anything we know, it’s that celebrities flock to two hubs in the United States primarily: NYC and Los Angeles. When I visited Los Angeles for a Harry Styles concert in 2019, I instantly clocked three TikTokers roaming around.

My coworkers in the area all come to work with stories of who they saw strolling through the streets over the weekend. With iconic areas like Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, and Beverly Hills, you can run into the rich-and-famous just by leaving your house.

Head to the local Erewhon and you’ll see Kylie Jenner and her best friend, Anastasia Karanikolaou, stalking the aisles. Drop by In ‘N Out and you’ll catch any celeb dining on Animal Style fries.

The City of Angels should be re-nicknamed the City of Celebrities. In a town brimming with famous people, you’re sure to find some familiar faces simply by paying attention to the people you’re passing on the streets.

But, if you want to be a little more intentional about finding a celeb…or you merely want to feel famous for the night, go dine where the A-listers dine! Party at the same clubs and you may see your favorite celeb far in the distance behind a velvet rope.

If you’re heading to L.A. but aren’t sure where the likes of the Kardashians or even the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dine…here’s a guide to the celebrity-studded restaurants in the area:

Sushi Park

Nestled in a literal shopping center on Sunset Boulevard, this is an unexpected scene for the most famous people on the planet to dine…but yet, it’s a hot spot. Seriously, everyone who’s anyone has been photographed at Sushi Park.

And while you may assume this is a cheap date, Sushi Park can run $400 per person. But, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and more have dined here…So the odds are high that you’ll see someone of note.

Nobu

I can’t count how many times Nobu has been referenced by pop culture. Whether it’s in a Drake song or during an episode of The Kardashians, this is one of the most famous Japanese restaurants in the world. The clientele is equally as high profile as the restaurant itself.

If you Google “Nobu Malibu Celebrities,” there are over 399 Getty images of celebs dining at this specific location. From Matt Damon to Angelina Jolie to the Kardashians to Drake to Jonah Hill to the American Royal Couple, this is the spot.

Saddle Ranch

If you’re a fan of anyone with a career in social media — whether it’s TikTok, YouTube, etc. — chances are, you’ll find them at Saddle Ranch. Yes, Addison Rae, Dixie and Charli D’Amelio, Tana Mongeau, and others will be at this tourist attraction.

Even Drake has been spotted at Saddle Ranch. It’s one of the easiest ways to party amongst the famous. The mechanical bull has been featured in TV shows like Desperate Housewives, Sex and the City, and others. It’s just such an iconic spot.

Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel

Speaking of iconic, it wouldn’t be a list of celebrity-studded, LA spots without mentioning The Beverly Hills Hotel. Literally every celebrity to ever exist has been to the Polo Lounge at some point: from Fred Estaire and Marilyn Monroe to Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez.

Although it’s a costly dining experience, it’s completely worth it in terms of aesthetics and star power. You have to visit the hotel at least once in your life, so you may as well join for tea while you’re there!

Erewhon

As an East Coaster, Erewhon is unfamiliar to me. I don’t understand the astronomic pricing just for groceries…and yet, I’m dying to sip that Hailey Bieber smoothie. Sure, the 20-oz smoothie costs $19-plus-tax-and-tip, I figure I’m not paying for the smoothie, but paying for the experience. It’s one of the most famous grocery stores in the country on account of its lore. And yes, celebrities really do shop there.

I just watched a TikTok of Kylie Jenner shopping with her friend Stassie, but she’s not the only avid Erewhon attendee. Hailey Bieber literally has her own smoothie there, and so has Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid LAROI, Bella Hadid, and Sabrina Carpenter.

Urth Caffe Beverly Hills

Featured in shows like HBO’s Entourage, Urth Caffe locations are another place where celebrities love to flock. Known for its coffee and American cuisine, Urth Caffe has hosted Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Jake Gyllenhaal, the Jonas Brothers, Jessica Alba, and many more.

If you’re looking for a delectable brunch and want to visit a chain popular amongst the famous, Urth Caffe is for you.

Craig’s

@joy.of.everything A mystery U.S. politician arrives at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood but refuses to be seen by photographers. Ironically, Craig’s is crawling with paparazzi as it is the hottest celebrity spot in Los Angeles. Question is, who was it?! #president #uspresident #biden #newsome #politician #usgovernment #paparazzi #motorcade #secretservice #security #lapd #kamalaharris #joyofeverything ♬ Dark, tense, movie, orchestra, 10 minutes(998819) – 8.864

When looking into where celebrities go to eat in Los Angeles, every single site told me about Craig’s. The epitome of celeb dining culture is evident on Melrose, and frequently has familiar visitors like George Clooney, Bill Clinton, Rod Stewart, and many, many more.

Ironically, it’s right next to another famous spot: Lisa Vanderpump’s SUR, which is the site of Vanderpump Rules. So, after your meal at Cragi’s, you can hit SUR for a Pumptini.
