Delicious cuisine options here are endless, from their famous Chicken Betutu to Balinese Tamales featuring coconut, spices, and meat wrapped neatly in banana leaves.
One of my BFFs spent half of her summer in Bali, and said that it’s super easy to befriend the locals cause they’re so warm and welcoming. As a New Yorker who’s used to cold and closed off neighbors, she fell madly in love with the change of pace found in Bali culture.

Crete – Greek Islands
