I Want To Go To The Jacquemus Beach Club

In terms of Bucket List Destinations, you may be considering the obvious: Paris, the Pyramids in Egypt, or maybe even clubbing in Ibiza. There are thousands of idyllic white sand beaches to choose from with crystal clear water and luxury shopping. And then there’s the national parks and landmarks in the continental United States to get through, too.

But on my list this year is something far more niche: I am yearning to take a trip to Jacquemus’ new beach club in Saint Tropez. Yes, you can literally fly to the south of France and dine at the Jacquemus Beach restaurant or lounge on the Jacquemus Beach, or shop at the Saint Tropez Beach Jacquemus Boutique.

And to be honest, the collaboration makes perfect sense. After all, the designer Simon Jacquemus hails from France and the fashion house aesthetic is the ultimate beach vibe. So what makes perfect sense? A boutique located within the ultimate Jacquemus getaway.

This isn’t the first time a high fashion house has launched a luxurious pop-up shop in a pricey destination. Just last year, Jacquemus took on Lake Como, Dior took on the Beverly Hills Hotel and Valentino created the Valentino Escape on the Amalfi Coast.

These pop-ups are thrilling for shoppers and fashionphiles alike because they often debut fresh collections, have aesthetically pleasing visuals and exclusive photo ops, and are a great chance for the brand to reveal their true identity.

Which is why I must find someone to fund my ticket to Saint Tropez this summer and live the Jacquemus way. After a blazing hot winter collection, all eyes are on Simon Jacquemus and the summer’s trendiest beach club.

What’s So Special About The Jacquemus Beach Club, You Ask?

Each brand has an identity – or vibe, if you will. Karl Lagerfeld’s black and white pieces for Chanel, Thierry Mugler and his structured corsets and mesh designs, Jacquemus and his beachy styles with those bold yellow stripes.

So, Jacquemus has created his own slice of paradise in his home country, with all the Jacquemuse essential touches. Iconic yellow stripes are strewn about the redesigned cafe. The Indie Beach Club is now the Jacquemus Beach Club and features muted green-striped sunbeds and umbrellas.

You may be thinking that the Jacquemus beach pop-up is the dream-setting for your Instagram, but we haven’t even mentioned the boutique. Of course, there’s the opportunity to shop the new spring collection…but the gorgeous “Les Sculptures” collection will also be on display.

You guessed it, the spring collection allows you to take home some of those astonishing stripes found on umbrellas and chair upholstery. Everyone can take home a piece of heaven!

If you want to go the extra mile, there will be exclusive merch available at the boutique. Jacquemus dominoes, racquets, postcards, travel mugs, and more — just like a gift shop.

Not all designers can successfully execute such an elaborate destination pop-up that also serves as a mini-vacation…which is why it’s at the top of my list.

Where Is It Precisely?

Obviously, just saying “Saint Tropez” is a pretty vague description…so if you’re genuinely interested in dropping by the Jacquemus Boutique, it’s located at 3 Avenue Foch. The cafe and brasserie is the renowned La Renaissance, by the Place des Lices.

As for the Indie Beach Club, that’s on Route de Bonne Terrasse in Saint Tropez. Either way, it’s most likely at least one flight away from wherever you’re sitting right now…So start planning your dream vacation now!

The 2024 Jacquemus Spring Collection

This year’s spring collection is very on-trend. The “Les Sculptures” collection was included in Jacquemus Spring/Summer 2024 runway show where models like Gigi Hadid debuted structured, daring takes on your classic pantsuit.

The idea of the “Les Sculptures” collection was to create something larger than life. The bigger, the better, with cinched waists, oversized belts, sculpted padded shoulders, and more. With his spring collection, it’s all about illusion.

The goal was to make every model look like the statues found in the Fondation Maeght art museum in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France. Located in the hills of Côte d’Azurat it’s where the show was held. According to Vogue:

“Surrealism was embedded in some of the all-important accessories, including the viral-bound double-heel sandals. Audience members were as carefully curated as the collection they watched and the art they sat surrounded by…”
